Overview

Engineering Company seeks a Maternity Cover Buyer to be responsible for the purchasing of materials, supplies, and services at the most favourable terms for the organization. Qualify vendors, on boarding, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services. Tracking purchases, monitors vendor quality (in terms of supply), and maintains a current database of vendor information on SAP. Must have SAP experience on the MM module (procurement).

Responsibilities Process purchasing requisitions into Purchase orders as requested on SAP. Evaluate Supplier and service providers in terms of supply requirements and manage the supplier performance. Maintain close relationships with key suppliers; align in meetings and have records in emails. Prepare a comparative chart for all large purchases and share with department head.
