Working within a fast-paced fabrication environment, you will play a critical role in the initial stages of production by prepping raw materials for advanced conveyor systems and mechanical equipment. This entry-level position offers cross-training opportunities across multiple machining disciplines to help you build a diverse technical skillset. Execute precise cuts on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum raw materials (shafting, tubing, angles, and structural shapes) using industrial band saws. Interpret internal engineering drawings, blueprints, and production routings to ensure all fabricated components meet strict dimensional tolerances. Operate material handling equipment safely, including overhead cranes and fork trucks, to move 20- to 40-foot lengths of steel.
