Opportunity Description
The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
**Please note:** We are currently hiring for the start of the 2026–2027 school year. Many of these positions begin as part-time, on-call roles due to limited staffing needs at the beginning of the year. These roles function as substitute positions.
As the school year progresses, districts begin hiring for full-time placements based on your responsiveness, attendance, and performance feedback. Consistent communication and reliability throughout the year greatly increase the likelihood of being considered for a full-time assignment.
