Job Description (Principal)

Reports to: The principal

Role: The principal’s role is both academic and administrative; the principal ensures the general implementation of schools’ academic, pastoral and administrative processes. The principal oversees and evaluates staff performance and professional development.

Curriculum Development

• Supervising curriculum outlines in collaboration with the curriculum coordinator
• Curriculum supervision ensures that:
• Curriculum is mapped to include integration cross‑curricular links
• Effective upward spiraling of the curriculum (scope and sequence)
• Modified to include provisions for SEND students/Emirati students
• Selecting curriculum‑related resources as aligned with the state standards
