GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
As a member of the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET), the School Psychologist shall conduct, review, and summarize psycho-educational evaluations, report results, and consult with staff, students, and parents. Student counseling shall be provided, as appropriate.
 
MAJOR DUTIES:
 
The psychologist:

Plans for the effective completion of related work duties.

Administers individualized tests, and prepares evaluation reports according to Federal, State and district guidelines.

Reviews out of district psycho-educational evaluations, including Consideration of Three Year Re-Evaluations, and other special reports.

Communicates pertinent evaluation results to staff, students and parents.

Participates in Consideration of Three Year Re-Evaluation placement staffing and review conferences, as needed.
