Summary About the Position: Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) Europe operates 64 schools in 4 Districts located in 8 countries across 4 time zones. There are nearly 900,000 military connected children of all ages worldwide. Federal employees in Hohenfels, Germany are currently entitled to receive a 42% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary (rate subject to change). Responsibilities Serve as property custodian maintaining a perpetual inventory of non-expendable property and supply records for durable items in the school. Assure all supply transactions are recorded in an automated system and that copies of documents are file appropriately to maintain an adequate automated and hard-copy audit trail. Assure school support requirements are prepared, edited, and submitted to the Area Director's office for the purchase of supplies and equipment. Identify equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
