Start date: 2 September 2026.

Full‑time equivalent salary range: £24,796 – £25,583 per annum (actual salary: £20,734 – £21,392 per annum).

Work load: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks a year (term time only). School hours: 8.00–4.00 Monday to Thursday, 8.00–3.30 Friday. Half hour lunch daily.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful School and Sixth Form. We seek a highly organised individual for this newly created role to support our Science department and help young people learn through science. The successful candidate will develop, prepare and maintain science equipment and materials, providing practical and technical support to teachers and ensuring safe, engaging practical activities for staff and students. They will also give advice and guidance, ensuring COSHH regulations are adhered to.
