Scientist/Senior Scientist I, IMRE

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join a newly awarded research project focused on fabricating atomically precise dopant-based quantum devices. This project aims to develop atomic-scale quantum devices for applications in spin-based quantum sensing and computing. You will be part of the National Quantum Federated Foundry at IMRE, working at the forefront of developing and advancing quantum hardware technology.

• Design and fabricate surface chemistry based atomic-precision quantum devices on semiconductor substrates.
• Develop and optimize UHV-based fabrication processes, including:
  • Atomic-precision lithography
  • High-quality semiconductor crystal growth (using MBE/CVD)
• Establish and refine cleanroom process recipes for:
  • Optical/electron-beam lithography
  • Plasma etching
