Qualifications:


+ Valid Washington State teaching certificate appropriate for assignment

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning; Master’s preferred

+ Extensive dance training to include individual performance, choreography, and rehearsal direction; preferably post-secondary experience.

+ Understanding of movement mechanics, dance pedagogy, concepts and skills

+ Understanding of choreographic structures, dance composition, concepts and skills

+ Experience with teaching students from beginner to advanced skill levels

+ Strong organizational skills necessary to coordinate student travel and events
