Section Engineer (Drainage)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer with extensive drainage experience to work on the HS2 programme, based in Chipping Warden . The successful candidate will support the delivery of complex highways and rail drainage works , ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with HS2 standards and UK regulations.

This is a permanent opportunity to work on one of the UK’s largest and most high‑profile infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take engineering responsibility for allocated drainage sections , including surface water, foul, attenuation systems, culverts, headwalls, and outfalls
• Set out works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and HS2 technical standards
