Section Head - Comms and Media Relations

The Section Head – Comms and Media Relations is responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships with B2B and media entities to support the GDMO strategic vision and align communication and promotion of the Dubai Key Messages – a matrix of communication messages aligned with the Dubai Vision. The Section Head is responsible for ensuring growth in relationships, positioning communication messages for GDMO departments and B2B accounts through media relationships and GDMO owned channels and platforms. The Section Head also supports the Strategic Relations Director on crisis communications procedures and protocols with internal and external parties, develops the Comms and Media Relations team, demonstrates leadership skills, handles financial and budget management, and carries out duties in accordance with business policies and procedures.
