Section Manager – Travel and Tourism

Location: Uxbridge Campus. Salary: £47,939 – £52,165. Status: Full time / permanent, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement and deliver courses across the Travel and Tourism section.

• Develop course provision and curriculum, including core and vocational programmes.
• Teach on a range of programmes and support staff teaching practice.
• Line manage and mentor a team of teaching staff.
• Co‑ordinate curriculum and staffing arrangements for mainstream, work‑based learning and commercial courses.
• Act as a role model for lecturers and deputise for the Head of School in carrying out duties.
• Review and assess performance, engage in pedagogic debate, and promote inclusive learning.
• Ensure student recruitment, retention and achievement within your area of responsibility.
