JOB SUMMARY

Serves dual role as first responder/EMT and security officer, promoting the health, welfare and safety of residents and associates on the Village campus. Responsible for responding to on-campus emergencies, medical and non-medical calls for assistance, and reinforcing an overall sense of safety on campus. Supportive of the Village’s mission, values, and service/hospitality (PRIDE) expectations. Completes training hours as required by policy.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responds to emergency medical calls on campus. Determines nature and extent of illness or injury. May administer basic life support at site of emergency such as administration of artificial resuscitation, administration of oxygen, treatment of minor wounds or abrasions, application of splints, etc., following medical protocols.
