Security Specialist (Insider Threat)

Summary This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Inspection Division, Office of Security Programs (IS), Insider Threat Section (IST), Defensive Counterintelligence Unit (ISTB). This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as a Security Specialist, providing support by identifying new and existing counterintelligence risks, and helping prepare the workforce on how to respond if they encounter those risks. Responsibilities As a Security Specialist (Insider Threat), your typical work assignments may include: Developing and analyzing updated security business requirements for the design, implementation, and operations of the counterintelligence unit. Participating in working groups, conferences, and meetings on national policies, directives, and instructions in developing security guidance and regulations which apply to the conduct of counterintelligence subject-matter program operations, government wide.
