Job description

Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with an established alternative provision near Farnborough, supporting young people aged 7-16 with Autism and associated complex needs. Due to the nature of the setting, we are seeking only highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistants with a proven background in specialist or alternative provision environments.

This role is not suitable for newly qualified or entry‑level TAs.


Essential Experience & Skills

  • Substantial, hands-on experience supporting children or young people with Autism and complex additional needs

  • Previous experience in alternative provision, SEN schools, PRUs, or specialist settings

  • A strong track record of managing challenging behaviour using calm, consistent, and trauma‑informed approaches

  • The ability to work confidently with students who require high levels of patience, structure, ...
