SENCo – Independent School

Job Description

New Directions is currently recruiting for a SENCo for a small independent setting in Trafford. The setting caters for learners with ASC & Complex Needs. This is a temp to perm role, meaning it will lead to a permanent contract. This role would suit a current SENCo looking for reduced workload or an aspiring SENCo (part or unqualified but with experience).

The School:

Strong senior leadership team who create a supportive environment to work inSpecialist provision that caters for learners with ASC, PMLD & Complex NeedsSmall tailored classes catered to the specific needs of the learner

The Role:

Full SENCo responsibilities (PEP, EHCP reviews, planning for 4 specific students)Some teaching responsibilities for 4 specific pupils (ASC, PMLD, Complex Needs) Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm

The Candidate:

Holding Qualified Teacher Status with experience of teaching SEND students. <...
