SENDSTART Caseworker

3 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose To coordinate and manage the Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessment and review process for children and young people aged 025 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role will act as the main point of contact for families, schools, and partner agencies, ensuring statutory duties are fulfilled within required timescales and that children and young people receive appropriate, person-centred support and provision. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for parents/carers and young people throughout the EHC assessment and review process. Coordinate Education, Health and Care needs assessments for children and young people aged 025. Ensure children, young people, and families are fully involved in the assessment process and that their views are accurately reflected in EHC plans.
