My client has an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role as a Senior Accountant in their Alexandria VA office. They are within the real estate investment industry and the ideal person selected for the Senior Accountant position should have an accounting real estate background. This person will be responsible for assisting with the accounting operations for the company and will report to the Controller. The duties will consist of supporting the month-end close process, posting various journal entries; including intercompany activity, reconciling various accounts, producing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting and ensuring the company remains in compliance with US GAAP.
