Opportunity Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Llanelli. The ideal Accountant will be ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE and have experience working in an Accountancy Practice.
On a day-to-day basis, and depending upon experience
As a Senior Accountant you will be involved in the following:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and charities in accordance with FRS102 & other applicable standards.
- Providing support to, and developing junior members
- Review the work of juniors, resolving technical queries, and having your own portfolio of clients to manage
- Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns
- Report directly to the Partner
- Good communication skills are essential as there will be regular contact with clients either via the telephone or email.
