Senior Accountant - Investment Industry

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a driven and leading Investment company in Namibia! The position reports to the Financial Manager and will have a finance team reporting to him/ her. This Senior Accountant position will be responsible for the financial reporting & governance of companies operating within the fishing and tourism industries.

Responsibilities

• Able to effectively manage their department to report on time.
• Review GL reconciliation, Cash Books, Debtors, Creditors, Fixed Asset Registers, Stock etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Trial Balances are appropriately finalized on time and properly reviewed before submission to the Financial Manager.
• Must be able to prepare the first draft of management accounts for submission to the Financial Manager.
• Taking responsibility to ensure the companies are audit ready at year end.
