Job Title: Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end AP accrual process by analyzing open purchase orders and unbilled liabilities to ensure expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period.
• Maintain strong partnerships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing discrepancies and ensure adherence to internal payment policies.
• Collaborate with the Treasury team to provide accurate aging reports.
• Oversee the integrity of vendor data for regulatory compliance, including the management of W-9 collection and the accurate filing of annual 1099 reporting.
• Maintain and audit the segregation of duties within the payment workflow to safeguard company assets and prevent unauthorized disbursements.
• Manage both routine and complex month‑end close activities, including preparing balance sheet reconciliations and performing detailed variance analysis.
