Senior Accountant / Process Expert, Record-to-Close

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant / Process Expert, Record‑to‑Close, to join our Finance & Control team supporting the UPM Paper Business.

What you will do

• Lead and perform complex accounting tasks in your area, focusing on Group, statutory and tax reporting in the Paper Business.
• Take ownership of the execution and quality assurance of Finnish statutory financial statements and corporate income tax reporting activities.
• Oversee the high‑quality and timely execution of Record‑to‑Close processes, taking responsibility for end‑to‑end delivery and the accuracy of reported information within your area.
• Collaborate closely with outsourcing partners and key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient ways of working.
• Contribute to global projects, development initiatives, and regulatory or reporting changes in your area.
• Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement to Record‑to‑Close processes. <...
