We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to help establish and lead the purchase ledger function within our new finance team in Chennai. This is a senior role suited to someone who enjoys building processes, working with autonomy, and supporting the development of a growing team.
You will take ownership of day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while shaping best practices, implementing controls, and mentoring junior colleagues. As one of the first senior hires, you will play a key role in creating a structured, efficient function within a fast-growing and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day purchase ledger operations, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and within deadlines
Own supplier statement reconciliations end-to-end, investigating and resolving discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
