Opportunity Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Adult Social Care and Education team, including line‑managing junior members.
- Hold a caseload of adult social care cases, such as Care Act 2014, ordinary residence, continuing health care, deprivation of liberty, age assessment, judicial review and inquest work.
- Provide high‑quality legal support across the full spectrum of Adult Social Care law.
- Advocate where required and develop advocacy skills as needed.
- Work closely with stakeholders to give clear, timely advice.
- Support the team’s commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid practising certificate and authorisation to practice in England as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
