Senior Aerodynamics CFD Engineer (Hybrid, Mirabel Canada)

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Senior Aerodynamics/CFD Engineer to simulate airflow around aircraft designs and engines to optimize performance, handling, and safety. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the Mirabel office, and requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with 3D CAD models (e.g., 3DX, CATIA, SolidWorks) to prepare geometries for CFD simulations.
• Create CFD meshes using tools such as Fluent Meshing, ICEM CFD, ANSA, or CADfix.
• Use CFD software (TAU, CODA, elsA, Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR‑CCM+) to simulate airflow, generate meshes, and analyse aerodynamic performance.
• Post‑process CFD solutions with scripts or software such as Python, Tecplot, or Paraview.
• Create aerodynamic models and databases based on CFD and experimental data (wind tunnel, flight tests).
