Senior ai software engineer (.net + agentic workflows)

QAT Global, a 30+ years IT consulting firm headquartered in the US, is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Software Engineer with strong. NET and Azure expertise and hands-on experience building AI-powered engineering workflows.

This position will work directly with US-based customers and distributed engineering teams across the US, Brazil, and Costa Rica.

About the Role

This is not a traditional backend development role.

You will help design, build, and operate AI-driven engineering workflows that automate software development activities using modern LLMs and agent frameworks. The role combines backend engineering, AI workflow orchestration, prompt engineering, and critical review of AI-generated code.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both software engineering and applied AI domains — building automation while also validating and improving generated outputs.
