Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy opened in January 1965 as The Blessed John Houghton Catholic School to provide a secondary Catholic education in the local area. We are an 11-16 comprehensive school, providing education for girls and boys of all abilities and pride ourselves on our inclusive nature.
