Senior Associate (MDWI)

Responsibilities To interview migrant domestic workers (MDWs) in their native language and at times in other languages with the help of interpreters, if necessary, either face-to-face or by other means for the purpose of understanding their employment and welfare conditions. Render assistance or provide advisory on employment related issues (both to MDWs and employers). Escalate infringement of employment and welfare to the relevant authorities. Collate and record responses of interviewees onto a custom-designed interview platform, and the collation of reports. Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, appointment scheduling, calling employers to missed interview, letter printing and folding, entering data into spreadsheets, photocopying and collating. Other duties as assigned by organisation/supervisor/ centre manager.
