Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a team focused on designing, building, and evolving robust backend services in a modern cloud-native environment.

This role is ideal for someone with strong backend experience in Kotlin and/or Java, solid knowledge of Spring or Quarkus, and the ability to take ownership of services end-to-end — from architecture and development to observability, production monitoring, and incident response. You will work across epics, make technical decisions, and help ensure that systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable in the long term.

Beyond hands-on development, this position requires someone who can raise engineering standards, mentor less senior engineers, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate across teams during critical events.
