Senior Backend Engineer (Python or OOP) (Madrid)

We are currently working with a fast-growing international fintech, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their core systems team. This is a key role where you'll work on the platform's multi-currency accounting and FX systems – the backbone of the product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems that power key financial operations.
• Design new services and improve existing ones, tackling both microservices and legacy code.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver initiatives end-to-end.
