The Policy and Te Tiriti | He Pou Rarama branch provides policy advice across a diverse range of areas including gambling and racing, media content and online safety, digital identity and community affairs. We oversee the Department’s Te Tiriti settlement obligations and commitments and engagement with Māori, iwi, hapu and whanau, including accord partners. We support commissions established by legislation, as well as time limited inquiries. The branch also undertakes the Department’s legal functions.

Your role will provide critical support for the operation of the Policy and Te Tiriti branch. The Branch Performance team you will join is responsible for planning and reporting for the branch. The team supports the running of a strong and effective branch. You will join us at an exciting time when we are building new connections and ways of working after changes to our structure earlier this year.
