Job Summary
Senior Care Assistant – Knowle Gate Care Home, Knowle. Salary: £13.85 per hour. This role supports a multidisciplinary care team, ensuring high‑standard personal care for residents and acting as a key point of contact for residents, families and health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor each resident’s wellbeing, noting any changes to care needs and updating care plans and written records accordingly.
- Participate in person‑centred care planning, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Administer medication and support residents with their medication requirements.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and supporting their professional development.
- Serve as the main contact for residents, relatives and visitors, addressing reasonable requests, concerns or complaints and escalating issues when necessary.
