Opportunity Description
As the Senior Chef de Partie you will support the Senior Sous and Junior Sous Chefs in a busy hotel kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food for both bar and restaurant. Like them, your role is vital to help maintain the success of the hotel, so you’ll ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily food preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and techniques. You will also handle purchase orders and ensure that items arriving without authorization are not received.
What you’ll do
- Take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors and coordinate daily tasks with the Senior Sous and Junior Chef
- Supervise junior chefs or commis
- Estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
