Senior Clinical Fellow: Gastroenterology

The Senior Clinical Fellow will be a valued member of the gastroenterology and general medical team, providing inpatient and outpatient care for gastroenterology and general medical patients. The post-holder will cover wards and participate in ward‑rounds, multi‑disciplinary team meetings and patient teaching sessions. The role also includes clinic attendance, including specialist outpatient clinics such as viral hepatitis, nutrition, hepatology, and participation in endoscopy sessions. Opportunities for training in tertiary specialist services will be offered and the fellow will be supervised by gastroenterology consultants. Both full‑time and part‑time appointments are available.

Key duties include:

• Covering inpatient wards and participating in daily consultant ward rounds.
• Attending multi‑disciplinary team meetings and providing patient management.
