Hellmann is looking for a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Customs Broker to support our New Zealand brokerage operations, ensuring compliance, quality delivery, and strong outcomes across your assigned portfolio.
About the Job
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance, ensuring full compliance with NZ Customs and MPI
- Prepare and sign accurate declarations (classification, valuation, duties)
- Provide expert advice to customers and internal teams on customs requirements
- Liaise with border agencies to ensure timely shipment clearance
- Resolve clearance issues and maintain accurate documentation
- Support compliance activities and drive continuous improvement
About You
- NZ Customs PIN certified with solid knowledge of NZ regulations
- 5+ years’ experience in customs brokerage or freight forwarding
