Role Overview:
This is a broad, high-impact engineering role at Defaqto. You will be a core technical contributor to our emerging market data platform, helping to design, build and deliver across data modelling, automation, and platform engineering. Working alongside a Data Architect in the initial design phase, you will translate a canonical data model into scalable, production-ready implementations across operational and analytical workflows. You will also inherit and evolve the AI-assisted research automation platform currently in development.
This is not a narrow warehousing role, and candidates with a background limited to traditional data warehousing or ETL pipeline development are unlikely to be the right fit.
