Senior Data Engineer
About the Role – We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms that support enterprise analytics and advanced data initiatives across cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, enterprise‑scale data solutions.
- Architect scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse (Microsoft Fabric), Databricks, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, and AWS Glue.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, leveraging Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, Python, Scala, and dbt.
- Implement real‑time streaming data solutions with Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Kafka, or equivalent.
- Drive technical standards, best practices, and performance tuning initiatives across the data engineering team.
- Define and enforce data security, governance, and compliance (RBAC, encryption, auditing).
