Senior Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• To guide and enhance Design Engineer in Bi-drum boiler design application (Cogen/Refinery/Power Plant).
• Ensure accuracy of engineering design in terms of drawing and calculation from Design Engineer or draughtsman.
• Establish the standard of Bi-drum boiler design.
• To guide and advice on ASME vessel design.
• Provide boiler technical data/information as required by internal customer. (Internal customer includes project/production/QC/Sales team).
• To assist on departmental objective on pressure part and non‑pressure part on‑time delivery.
• Check and verify Boiler Specification Record (BSR) against customer requirements in sales contract.
• Perform product stress calculation and drawings according to BSR, Boiler or Unfired Pressure Vessel (UPV) design code (BS1113/ASME Sec.I or Sec.VIII Div.1) and statutory regulations (FMA.1967).
