At Microchip Technology Inc., we empower innovation by developing technology that runs the world. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Human Machine Interface Division (HMID) – the global center of excellence behind industry‑leading maXTouch® capacitive sensing technology.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of touch controllers and system‑level HMI solutions used across automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. You will work with a highly skilled R&D team and collaborate globally across silicon, firmware, and applications engineering.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take ownership of the Capacitive Touch Engine (CTE) design and development across analog front‑end acquisition control, digital signal acquisition and processing, and low‑level firmware for performance‑critical execution.
