The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. DYCD is seeking a Senior Director to oversee its Fatherhood Initiative. DYCD’s Fatherhood Initiative program aims to engage fathers to become self-sufficient, support fathers in establishing relationships and/or reconnecting-with their-children and assist fathers in strengthening their ties to their communities, in order to strengthen their children’s economic, emotional and social futures.
