This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our busy Electoral Services team based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Blackburn's electorate is notable in Lancashire because it forms one of two unitary authorities, meaning it has a separate local government structure and a distinct electoral system compared to the other 12 districts within the administrative county of Lancashire.

Local Government in Lancashire is changing and as part of the Local Government review, Blackburn will become part of a larger Unitary Authority. This is an exciting time to join us and work towards becoming part of something bigger and better with increased opportunities.
