Senior Electrical Engineer - Automation Design (Marine)

Overall Purpose of Job: Able to assessengineering problems and develops pragmatic solutions to resolve engineering related issues for shipboard Automation projects, and to ensure the designs are in accordance to contractual specifications and marine classification requirement. Responsibilities: Responsible for all automation related design, platform system integration and interface with the Ship Management System (SMS) and platform system related control and monitoring and logics, which includes basic and detail design : SMS architecture SMS functional description I/O list Integration of third party equipment / system with SMS Conduct integration reviews with vendors and client Control console design and control panel arrangement Control room arrangement layout Platform system automation design, system control and monitoring
