The role involves leading and delivering high voltage electrical engineering solutions across complex infrastructure projects, from concept through to commissioning.

Responsibilities Lead HV engineering design for substations, transmission, distribution, and reticulation systems Prepare, review, and approve technical designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians Ensure compliance with Eskom standards, SANS, IEC, NRS, Grid Code, and OHSA regulations Support projects through feasibility studies, tender evaluations, and cost estimates Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams Provide site-based support including inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover Identify and manage technical risks while ens...
