Senior Engineer

Working 42 hrs per week, 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm Friday

Some on call may be required. 

This is a heavy machinery engineering position 

Purpose :To work as part of the mill engineering team to meet the full maintenance requirements of Ashbourne Feed Mill

• To ensure a maintenance plan is in place and adhered to in such a way that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times.
• Provide and maintain a breakdown call out plan in such a way that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times.
• Providing regular reports on the maintenance status of the mill as a KPI.
• To maintain all pressure systems ensuring they fully comply with all legal and insurance requirements.
• To assist in the purchasing and stock control of all site maintenance requirements inline with budget targets.
