To be the AWS cloud engineering subject matter expert across multiple cloud capabilities linked to AWS platform engineering, including AI, DevOps, Compute, networking and databases. The individual will also ensure that the Standard Bank AWS cloud environment is continuously evolving to best practice, adopting new AWS features at scale and enabling feature teams to deploy innovative solutions for our customers.
The AWS senior cloud engineer will also be the service owner for core AWS platform enablement capabilities, ensuring our services are compliant to SBG standards, principles, policies, and regulatory obligations in a manner that enables our business strategy.
