Senior / Engineer, Network (GC/SW)

Job Description
Drive the implementation and compliance of IT policy for network and firewall architecture. Install, configure and support network and firewall infrastructure Perform network maintenance and upgrades including patches, hot fixes and security configurations Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Assist in security incidents and provide expertise in remediation efforts Identifying root cause of incidents and making appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure Research the latest industry practices and technologies as well as emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Develop requirements for firewall rule implementation including user-ids and application-ids Being proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality Participate in network related vulnerabilities testing and drill.
