Senior Engineer – Technical, Construction

Job Description

Our client is one of the largest Japanese contractors. The Senior Engineer – Technical, Construction will be responsible for overseeing structural and interior design (ID) aspects of construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors and design teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and managing site activities. This role reports to the Team Lead or Construction Manager.

【 Responsibilities 】
- Liaise with subcon to plan, arrange and carry out construction activities
- Liaise with design department to confirm and clarify design issues
- In charge of Structural aspects and ID works of project, with ID works being the main scope
- Liaise with relevant parties/departments to carry out site inspections
- Ensure quality of work done conform to specifications
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned
