Opportunity Description
We are looking for a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (m/f/i) to join our Laboratory in Northbrook/Illinois to mainly d eveloping documents and maintaining environmental health and safety (EHS) programs (e.g. hazardous materials, emergency response plans) in compliance with Federal, State and Local legislation.
+ Develops documents and maintains environmental health and safety (EHS) programs (e.g. hazardous materials, emergency response plans) in compliance with Federal, State and Local legislation.
+ Recording and maintaining data on safety-related incidents and responses including incident investigation and root cause analysis
+ Creates EHS programs and instructs employees in matters pertaining, but not limited to occupational health, injury prevention, safe operation of equipment and proper handling/cleanup of chemicals and hazardous materials.
