Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Teaching Lab

The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of undergraduate Physics teaching laboratories and divisional activities in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty coordinators with curriculum planning, marking schemes, scheduling of course activities, and development of experiment materials.
• Test and implement new experiments, manage online course platforms, hire and brief TAs/markers, and ensure timely submission and grading of student work.
• Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices.

Technical Support of Teaching Labs

• Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to students and TAs, perform routine maintenance and repairs of lab instruments, liaise with vendors for servicing, and support software/IT needs for lab operations.
