Senior Finance Consultant with Vaco/Highspring

Vaco/Highspring is on the lookout for a Senior Finance Consultant for a 6-month contract to elevate IFRS compliance and enhance financial reporting accuracy. Collaborate with the Director of Finance to streamline operations.
In this contract role, you will leverage your CPA, CA expertise with 3-5 years of experience to manage compliance and financial modeling. Your role includes researching IFRS developments, delivering management reports, and ensuring internal control adherence. You'll participate directly in month-end and year-end closure processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create new accounting policies for IFRS compliance
• Research and form IFRS position papers
• Financial modeling to analyze reporting impacts
• Provide reports to SEC parent and OSFI
• Assist with compliance for internal control audits
